Ted's was the diner on Main St. in my hometown of Milford, Massachusetts. I never ate there as a kid but I got many a bowl-cut at Pat's Barber Shop next door. Ted's was one of the oldest Tierney diners still existent. Sadly, Ted's was recently demolished to make way for a new fire station.
